We believe that the Bible is uniquely
God-inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and the final
authority on all matters on which it bears.
We believe in one God, eternally existing
in Three Persons (the Trinity): the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son
of God and the second person of the Trinity, and that He existed with
God before time began. He is, and has always been, fully God, and while
on earth was fully man and fully God at the same time. He is currently
at the right hand of the Father, and all authority in heaven and on
earth has been given to Him.
We believe in the historical virgin
birth, life, death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the
promise of His physical return.
We believe that all human beings are born
sinful and spiritually separated from God.
We believe that through His death and the
shedding of His blood on the Cross of Calvary, Jesus Christ paid the
penalty for sin. The free gift of salvation is available to all who will
receive Christ through faith in Him alone.
We believe that those who trust Christ
for salvation receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life; those who
reject Him receive condemnation and eternal separation from God.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully
God and third person in the Trinity. Each individual receives the Holy
Spirit at the moment of salvation. God desires that each believer live a
life of surrender to Christ in order to experience the ongoing
empowering and control of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Church is the Body of
Christ, represented by the various local congregations.
We believe in the priesthood of every
believer, and therefore encourage the discovery and practice of
Spiritual gifts which are to be exercised within Scriptural guidelines.
